Leo Jacob is an American photographer, hospitality professional, bar owner, father and husband. Since migrating from the former Soviet Union to NYC at the age of 5 in 1990, Leo has embodied the New York spirit. He is known for his signature cinematic portrait photography. Leo has been mentored by some of the best in the industry, such as Michael Muller and Greg Williams. In 2021 Leo published a book titled “New York is Dead? Long Live New York!”, which featured portraits and interviews with some of New York’s most notable and less notable restauranteurs. When not working on his next book, Leo shoots for commercial and commissioned projects and has worked the likes of Jacquemus, Birkenstock, Purple Fashion Magazine, D’Angelico Guitars and many more. He resides in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter.
